Send Your Operation Kid to Kid "GO Balls" to Children in Iraq.
This year's "GO Ball" project gives the children at your VBS the chance to share unique soccer balls with a charitable cause that helps young children in need. Harcourt Religion Publishers has partnered with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, U.S.A., to help collect soccer balls for the many children in need in Iraq. Children in Iraq love to play soccer, and there are several locations served by the Archdiocese for the Military Services where your Operation Kid-to-Kid "GO Balls" can be distributed.
Share Your Power Lab VBS "GO Balls" with the Archdiocese for the Military Services:
- During your Power Lab Catholic VBS, make sure that the children in your parish only write their names on the soccer balls that you are donating. The Archdiocese for the Military Services cannot accept soccer balls with specific messages written on them.
- Collect your Operation Kid-to-Kid "GO Balls" at the end of your Power Lab VBS. Your parish can incorporate a prayer service (available in the Freebies & Updates section of this website) and bless the soccer balls before you send them.
- Check with your local post office for more information on the correct type of box to use to mail to an APO address.
- Fill out an APO customs slip (PS Form 2976-A). You can find more information on how to fill out this form at the US Postal Services website by clicking this link: How do I complete PS Form 2976-A?
- Mail the soccer balls to the following address:
